I just purchased a 1986 Savage. It's my first bike. I bought it for transportation to and from work (about 20 miles). At 6 foot 2 inches and 290 pounds I am a little big for it. However, it is a nice looking bike, it received good reviews as a bike for new riders, and it was in my price range. But I need to change the handle bars and I want to change the seat. I need wider handle bars and I would like it to have a sportier look. I can't see anything in my mirrors except my shoulders. I want a different seat. One without a back rest. Is there anyway to put a seat on it that will let me sit a little farther back from the tank.
